What is 1-900-Phantazy?
It's an epic quest where you'll "explore dark dungeons and ancient crypts", battling "gnarly monsters" and uncovering valuable treasures! Your primary mission is to "search for the nexus keys, " which, once collected, can lift the shadow curse! The game unfolds in two exciting phases: "explore and attack", keeping you on the edge of your seat!
How Do You Play?
All you need to play is a "touch-tone phone," dice (specifically "1d12 AND SOME D6’S"), and a "valid credit card" (remember to "Always get your parent’s permission before calling"!). The game's master, known as "the Operator," oversees the game's flow, describing what happens as you "dial" your dice rolls for actions and combat. Listen closely for "quick time event[s]" that challenge your reflexes – you'll need to "dial your d12 and hope you hit the target"!
Team Up or Go Solo!
"When each person calls in they are connected to others who want to play on the "Party Line", allowing for collaborative adventures with other kids! You also have the option to "play alone too". Before you start, "choose a class" from unique heroes like the "Knight," "Ranger," "Ninja," or "Wizard". Each class comes with special "Power dial" abilities and starting items, from a Knight's Shield to a Wizard's Hat!
Conquer Monsters, Claim Riches!
Prepare to face a variety of creatures that "go bump in the night", including zombies, ghouls, snakemen, and even dragons! When "a monster appears," you'll hear their "DISTANCE" and a "TARGET NUMBER" to dial. Successfully defeat them, and you'll be "awarded whatever they may drop", including "radical prizes!". While playing, "it does cost money to play, IN ADDITION, TAKING DAMAGE ALSO COSTS MONEY", adding a thrilling risk to every encounter! Heroes start with "$10.00+1D12 bucks" as their hit points and can "gain more money" throughout their adventure.
Ready to Save Carpathia? "Check the amount on the credit card," "choose a class," "equip your character," and "join the Party Line!". "Hurry back! Carpathia needs heroes!"
