THE book for any D&D 5e Player. This is a colorful, sturdy hardback that covers all the rules a Player generally needs to generate their characters and play them. If you've experienced the D&D Starter Set, or a D&D one-off, and decided you want more (as a Player), this is the book to get. While I enjoy all editions of D&D, the updates and innovations in this 5th edition rule set have really made it my favorite to run and play. Recommended!
